Reverend Cannabis’s Mix, is the foundation for a living medium, which, with the right encouragement can feed your plants for years. If you build your soil using the techniques outlined in the following installments (Vegetative Phase and Flowering Phase) you will have created a soil so alive, that after 3 full flowering cycles, only earthworm castings and dry nutrients will be needed, no additional teas or liquid fertilizers required!
Tip: Life in the soil is more important than nutrients. Lively soil yields resin.
The Mix
makes 22-25 gallons of soil, enough for 2 containers large enough to carry through the flowering cycle
85-90% Soilless Potting Mix: 3 Cubic Feet, Reverend Cannabis likes a Coir based potting mix with pumice, redrock and other composted materials rather than perlite.
Optional: ¼ Cubic Foot Biochar
10-15% Worm Castings: ½ Cubic Foot (or a little less) Worm Castings
Amendments:
1 Cup Kelp Meal
1 Cup Fish Bone
1 Cup High Phosphate Bat Guano
¾ Cup Crab Meal
