Things to know:

  1. Federally Cannabis is still Illegal.
  2. Washington State is still working things out.
  3. You can legally grow plants, but they have to have less than 1% THC by weight.
  4. This means hemp is now legal in Washington State.
  5. This also means, unfortunately once your plants start to flower they are probably no longer legal.
  6. Growers need to have Medical Marijuana Authorization or apply for a 502 Production permit (which the window has closed on).  State law for medical is 15 plants.
