Our Landscape Services Are Still Available:

Landscape Construction:

  • Full availability of services are allowed as of February 6, 2021.
  • If governor requires, we will scale back to reduced operations per emergency orders as they arise:
    • For emergency repairs
    • To prevent spoliation and avoid damage or unsafe conditions.
    • This also applies to current job sites that are needing to be shored up to a safe status, or to avoid damage.

Landscape Maintenance :

  • Full availability of services are allowed as of February 6, 2021.
  • If governor requires, we will scale back to reduced operations per emergency orders as they arise:
    • On a reduced level (“routine maintenance” is not allowed) to the extent necessary to prevent imminent damage or spoliation of hardscape or greenery.
    • The basic necessary functions to keep the landscape healthy are allowed. This is from trusted sources (email from Plant Amnesty that shared WSNLA (Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association) communications with Governor’s Office, on March 30, 2020. According to WSNLA, during the Stay in Place order, the following maintenance activities are allowed:
      1. Lawn care.
      2. IPM (integrated pest management). This includes some weeding to keep noxious weeds in check.
      3. Ensure plant health and success.
      4. Irrigation start up/repair.
      5. Ensuring safe access to and from buildings. For instance, we’re clearing pathways.
      6. Cultivation and maintenance of food grown at home.

Solid waste:

  • Handling and disposal, for example servicing garbage cans at commercial mixed-use landscapes we maintain. In addition, we can do emergency hauling jobs related to your landscape.

All activity must meet social distancing, worker protection, and appropriate health screenings before proceeding.

Future Planning

  • Permanent shift in operating culture from COVID-19 virus.

Most importantly, we want a healthy community!

We’re taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously. As a result, we have changed how we do business.
